A Unique Professional Development Experience to Celebrate 20 years!
In 2006, this was all just an idea born in Dr. Joe's heart based on his own lived experiences and his professional experiences as a teacher and administrator. Twenty years later, we are proud to offer a practitioner-developed, comprehensive approach to creating successful cultures for both students and professionals, alike. The best part? It's doable and easily implemented as a stand-alone day-to-day plan or a supplement to enhance the efficacy of existing behavioral programs/initiatives. We have successfully provided this training across the United States and as far away as Australia!
The Creating Cultures of HOPE Workshop is for all youth service providers including principals, program directors, teachers, counselors, social workers and other child advocacy professionals.Ā Ā Ā
This is NOT your typical conference...
Instead of running between quick breakout sessions that only scratch the surface, attendees can expect an immersive professional development experience. This 2-day event will focus on providing a deeper dive into the topics in an engaging format with other professionals sharing the common goals of student success and creating hope-centered cultures!Ā
Together, we will address some of the most pressing topics in education today with easy-to-implement, practitioner-developed strategies.Ā Ā
Weāll dig into:Ā
- Trauma-Informed & Restorative Practices
- Leading with Vision & Empathy
- Educator Wellness through a Trauma-Sensitive Lens
- Building Hope-Centered Learning Communities
Come join us in our hometown of Historic Ashland, Ohio! Each day includes a 1.5 hour lunch break to explore the historic downtown's eateries and shops, all within walking distance of the venue.
