A Unique Professional Development Experience
The Empowered 4 Hope Conference is for all youth service providers including principals, program directors, teachers, counselors, social workers and other child advocacy professionals.
empowered (v.): having the knowledge, confidence, means, or ability to do things or make decisions for oneself
hope (n.): a belief or trust that something good is possible
This is NOT your typical conference...
Instead of running between quick breakout sessions that only scratch the surface, attendees can expect an immersive professional development experience. This 2-day event will focus on providing a deeper dive into the topics in an engaging format with other professionals sharing the common goals of student success and creating hope-centered cultures! (One day passes are an available option, but we recommend both days so you walk away with a comprehensive approach to building trauma-informed spaces.)
Together, we will address some of the most pressing topics in education today with easy-to-implement, practitioner-developed strategies.
We’ll dig deep into:
- Trauma-Informed & Restorative Practices
- Leading with Vision & Empathy
- Educator Wellness through a Trauma-Sensitive Lens
- Building Hope-Centered Learning Communities
After an enriching day, head out to enjoy the area's variety of food and shopping. Amish Country has much to offer like specialty shops and eateries, or you can choose to enjoy some quiet time in the beautiful surroundings!
**Graduate credit (one hour) will be available through Ashland University for an additional fee of $185. Graduate credit is only available to participants who attend both days of the conference. More details are available on the registration page.
